  • MSP6.5 timeline play problem

    Dear all,

I thought these problems would not occur anymore. Just switching
from MSP 6.0 to 6.5, on W2k-SP2 Marvel 400 with PICVideo
instead of MJPEG, I try to play from the timeline, e.g. two clips
that are combined with any transition.

It'll render 6 files, 3 audio and 3 video. It starts playing back and
when it reaches the step to begin the second video, it stops and
hangs. When the time is over, it'll jump to the end and that's
    it.

Any ideas? Do I have to edit something in ulead32.dat like with
MSP on Win98? By the wy, the same problem with lead codec.

    Thanks for any help.
    Best Regards,
    Karlson.

    Karlson,

Are you taking about the Instant Preview from the timeline? If so I do it all the time and have had no problems from clip to clip or with Titles inserted, using PicVid MJPEG in MSP6.5.

Note: For playback to output to tape or preview at full resolution I use PCVCR - seems to have very little hesitation and plays back at a good quality.

    Good luck,
