  • Wow! Are my kids happy!

Here is something I don't get to do very often.

Took pics of the kids in the snow! I am in Dallas Texas and we tend to get ice more than anything (and very little of that!).

Kids are out of their minds with joy.

    Cute kids! Looks like fun.

We are in the same storm up here, but it's not sticking

When I was 9 we moved from Omaha NE to Sunnyvale CA.
Had the first snow in 30 or 40 years there the first winter.
    Might have been 1/4 in.
We couldn't believe the fuss everyone was making about the "Frozen Dew".

I only remember it snowing here (Northern California) twice in the last 40 years. In 1963 and 1976. It came close again about a week ago -- stuck to the surrounding mountains down to about 400 ft.

Guess what. It's like 75 degrees F. here - like always...

They're not very demanding if they can be satisfied with just snow. Consider yourself a happy parent.
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

Well, we were playing in the snow on Tuesday and in short sleeves today (Friday). It got up to a sunny 60 degrees today.

            Gotta love Texas.
