intelligent menu in win xp

does anyone know how to activate the intelligent menus in the start menu... you know when windows hides the unused items

Rightclick on the taskbar (or Control Panel>Taskbar and Start Menu Properties) and check the Use Personalized menus checkbox.

ok, i see it, but that only works on the classic mode... i wanna use the xp mode and still have that feature.... does anyone know how to do that?

You can't.

Either increase the number of items on the XP start menu,
or switch back to classic and use personalized menus.

After a few months with the XP start menu, I switched back
to classic. Got tired of expecting one program to be first
in the list and another program popping up in its place.
