  • Installing Win98 after Win2k to use Video Tools

Well, since I'm getting deja vu thinking about the G200 ICD with the "soon" to be released Video Tools for Win2k, I'm giving up and want to know how to install Win98 after an install of Win2k Pro so I can dual boot. Anyone know of an easy way to set up Win98, and any other tips? Thanks in advance.

First, use Partion Magic to make a primary FAT32 partion. Set it active, and install Win98. After you're finished with the 98 install, use Partion Magic again to set the Win2K partion active. Make sure Partion Magic doesn't mark the 98 partion hidden at this point. Boot into Win2k, and download Bootpart (http://www.winimage.com/bootpart.htm) and use it to add Win98 to the bootup menu and that's it.
