Web site problem

For the past couple of days, the downloading of pages on this site has been seriously compromised by something like www.hits.stats4all or somesuch. The page downloads fine until a wee bittie from the end then stalls for a minute or so. In the meanwhile, one is blocked from navigating or whatever (short of hitting the browsing stop button, in which case one never sees the bottom of the page). This is obviously a link that is not working possibly.

Can owt be done to improve this situation, please????

I'll take a look, it's an external site I use for logging site traffic.
