Does Premiere 5.1c work with DV?

I am a Premiere user. Currently with my RRS. I'm upgrading to a dv cam, so now I need a firewire card. When all said is done, will Premiere work with this? How about Premiere RT (minus the RT effects, of course). I read in posts that premier doesn't support it, only MSpro 6. But many DV cards bundle premiere. So lets have the low down guys. Whats the scoop?
P.S- Pinnacle studio DV - any good?

The only problem I've heard of between Premiere and IEEE-1394 cards is with the TI chipped OHCI compliant devices. That said vendors may include a driver for their cards that fixes this.

In a fast search most of the IEEE-1394 cards I checked seem to support Premiere. Just make sure sure the cards specs have both Premiere and your cam on its supported products list.
