Comcast Corp. won the battle for AT&T Corp.'s cable-television business Wednesday, agreeing to pay $47 billion in stock and ending an epic five-month battle for a valuable pipeline into about a fifth of the nation's homes.

MS even had a hand in it. Good thing AOL Time Warner didnt here their hands on it...I would have killed myself if I had to install AOL! Though I hope that this new company won't force us Comcast users to have the Download Caps that the ATT guys have gotten since @home went tits up.

Yeah...I'm *really* looking forward to changing over everything to the new domains given how many addys and phone book entries we have here. It'll take me a week to change over and email everyone with the new stuff
