• Need A New Mobo Nowish

I've had it with my system and need a fairly cheap stable mobo with decent overclocking ability. Currently I am running a G400DH, SBLive! X-Gamer 5.1, ATi TV Wonder PCI, Kingston KNE120TX NIC, CNET 5614RV PCI losemoddem as Add in cards. Maxtor 32049H3 20 GB HD, Maxtor 90431U1 6.4 GB HD, LiteOn LTR24102B CDRW and a Toshiba SD-M1402 DVD. Memory is Kingston ValueRAM 2X256 MB PC133 CAS3 sticks. Ideally I want to move to a TigerMP or TigerMPX eventually but want something that will allow me to run the above with my 700 MHz Duron at 850. Hmmmm, I wonder If the pencil job needs redoing.
/me not looking forward to removing that bloody Globalwin WBK38.
The fvcking board is suddenly ubstable today after being fine all weekend. LiteON had to be moved again as it had stopped reading discs again. Arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!! Bomborassclaat!!!
If I could avoid DDR I wouldn't mind doing so. This mobo I have had since August 200, I think it has outlived its useful life. Not too surprising given the way I have used it. Always putting in or removing parts for testing or otherwise. Any suggestions. Sorry Paul, intel is out of the question as they are too expensive and I already have an AMD processor.

No DDR: Epox 8KTA3 (like mine), or an SiS board (no real OC abilities, but fast and cheap, and no 686B bugs).
DDR: Epox 8KHA+ (the + is for KT266A). No 686B problems here either.

I love Epox's offerings of late.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I've got an Epox 8kha which has proven itself reliable enougth to replace my BX Abit bf6. I'll be trying the plus version after christmas.

Unfortunately it's DDR, but for $80 @ newegg you can pick up a Shuttle AK31. I like mine and it has received rave reviews all over.
