    G400 MAX (AGP2x) Refresh Rate

    Does anyone know how I can increase the refresh rate of my G400 MAX in DVI mode ? The only refresh rate I can obtain is 60Hz using the v5.72 drivers. The max refresh rate of my monitor is 75Hz (1280x1024) in digital mode. The moderator on the matrox.com forum says it's a driver problem and they are working on it.

    Same Drivers in G550...

    so I guess uprading to G550 won't help.

      Yeah, its a driver limited issue.

      Although if you know how to reprogram the edid block in your panel, you can change the info that matrox reads while initializing the card/driver and make it run at a differant refresh rate :P

      It worked for me at the office.. cackle
