Image quality/accuracy test in 3DMark2001. If anyone is interested, then my Matrox G450 LX showed these results compared to reference image:

Reference Image- Microsoft D3D Reference Rasterizer
Matrox- Image of Matrox G450 Dualhead LX 16 MB
XOR- Difference between Reference Image and Matrox produced image

    1024x768@32bit

    Game 1- Car Chase
    Reference Image
    Matrox
    XOR

    Game 2- Dragothic
    Reference Image
    Matrox
    XOR

    Game 3- Lobby
    Reference Image
    Matrox
    XOR

It would be nice if anyone of you could post your own
What do you think, i'm gonna leave my opinion for later

I've only looked at the car chase pics, but the G450 looks quite washed out compared to the reference image, look at the licence plate of the pick-up for instance.

I'd like to see the same images on a G400(or Max), a GF3 Ti whatever and a Radeon 8500 for comparison.

    EDIT:

The washed out impression is the same on all the pics.

Radeon 8500 XOR images (not by me) 7206 drivers:

      Game 1- Car Chase
      ATI XOR

      Game 2- Dragothic
      ATI XOR

      Game 3- Lobby
      ATI XOR

      And Original

      Game 1- Car Chase
      ATI Original

      Game 2- Dragothic
      ATI Original

      Game 3- Lobby
      ATI Original

And GeForce 3Ti check out http://www.geocities.com/legion88 as well as for Ati Radeon 8500

There is a complete article about 3dmark2001 image quality/accuracy test, Radeon 8500 vs GeForce 3Ti

Look at the GF3 pic the clarity is so much better than both the Radeon and the G450.
