  • Slackware vs. Redhat?

I'm currently using Mandrake 8.1 and I've used RPM-based distributions all my life (well, I once accidentally tried Slackware 2.1 or such ). What's the main difference between Slackware and Redhat (or other RPM-based, like SuSE or Mandrake)? I've noticed that Slackware uses still TGZ packages, which sounds a bit weird to me. I also heard that Slackware has 6 CD's which can even be downloaded all, unlike SuSE, which offers only two (or three) CD's. Is it worth downloading? What can I do better with it?
Hey, maybe you and I could... you know... [SLAP] Agh!
