  • Marvel G400-"Negative" (or complementary) Colors SOLVED.

For a while ago I reported, on this Forum, that my Marvel G400 went "negative colors" on the TV, after I firstly played MPEG 1 or 2 files with the PC-VCR or with the M$ MediaPlayer, then secondly I played hardware compressed Matrox-MJPEG files. Nobody answered.
Now I am very happy, becouse I found the source of the problem:
The dumb BOB is unable to switch the audio from different format.

Editing files with the MSP6 and creating MPEG (1 or 2) made the playback to lose audio. The solution I found, thanks to this Forum (Patrick, I remember)is: by-pass the BOB audio.
I never thought that even the video could be affected of the fact that the Marvel G400 (dumb again) audio is unable to switch over to other format.

Isn't it a Matrox HW fault, is it?

Just now I'm working to build a switch- and by-pass box hardware. I'll return with some drawings and photos.

I don't know if somebody else have had this problem, but, let my post help others with similar questions.
It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings...
