  • G400 MAX Worthless? I think not!

Well, I hate the thought of giving up my G400 MAX but I think it's come time where I can't afford to upgrade my CPU + Mobo but I can afford to get a new graphics card that I can game with.

I spoke to my local hardware store, not only are they offering the G400 DH SGRAM (non-max) for $485 Australian, which is $35 more than what I paid for it ~1 and a half years ago, they're offering me $150 for a trade in without the box or anything.

I'll probably keep mine and insert it into a Pegasos system when I can get my hands on it...

I've already replaced mine in this PC. I did keep the Max though (NOT in a bag, though ). I put it into my daughter's computer, and occasionally I use it to check the color of images I'm working with before printing them (home photos from digital camera). Nothing I've seen yet has been as accurate right out of the box (I don't have to rely on tweaking the Max's output to match the original photo/printer as much as I do the nV products I've had since).
            "..so much for subtlety.."

            Gainward Ti4600
            AMD Athlon XP2100+ (o.c. to 1845MHz)

If anybody is interested in buying the G400 MAX and you live in Australia, I have it selling on eBay.
