  • Matrox Marvell G400-TV shiny grey film on TV

    When I play a mpeg - file to my VCR/TV (e.g with PC-VCR) I got a shiny grey film on the TV.
    WHY, WHY!!
    I hope somebody can help me

      On the PC monitor I can watch the film in an excellent quality.
      On the TV/VCR (on the same time) the colours of the film are bad.
      It looks like that the colour lightgrey is over the hole TV.
      I think it is the DVD copy protector.
      I have used crack.exe, but it doesn't help (or I used it in the wrong way).
      I become the error message:
      VCAP16.DLL = Error – Wrong File Size

      Do you have an idea?

        Markus,
        Read about "thin oil films" in Grigory's post from 07 April 2000 at this: http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum2/HTML/003601.html

        I don't know if this is your problem, but worth to read, anyway.
