• Lines during motion in capture

Whenever i capture video and play it in
windows mplayer it looks fine. However, when I try to edit it in other programs
all the things in the video in motion become
lines. Is there anyway to fix this?

Ahh, but for something to be fixed, one must first assume it is broken!!

Fact is, it's not broken. The lines are part of standard NTSC and PAL television systems. They're known as fields, and you can find a description of how they work in this topic.

The reason you don't see them in Media Player is because your hardware is doing its best to make it look like regular TV. (in other words, it's an illusion) Your editing programs don't go through the hardware, so they are handed the real thing.
