  • Timestamp added to posts seems wrong

I have noticed over the last about 2 weeks, that if I visit the forum, go surf somewhere else and then return to the forum a while later, a new reply/post may appear with a timetag about an hour before I visited the first time, even though I know it was not there the first time I visited.

I have just experienced it with a reply of my own here

I posted at around 5:45 (GMT+2) yet it is labeled about an hour earlier.

Server having a bad-hair day again?

Edit - It most likely has something to do with the fact that the current time on the forum is reported an hour earlier than what it should be

Looks like the server has done a little daylight saving.

Looks like it runs on Dutch wintertime, or as it says GMT+1, which is now correct (and not English time)

            It says:

"All times are GMT. The time now is 13:12."

Which is correct, don't know where you get the GMT+1 from.

                Jorden

At the time of registering on the forum you must have choosen to have the time displayed as GMT+1 due to your location.

In my case it reads GMT+2 because I have choosen that.

In the user cp, under the edit options tag, there are some Date & Time Options. One of them is Time offset.

The server clock seems to be running right now, since I no longer have to put Moscow time (GMT +3) in, for times to display right.
I'm on GMT +2 (EET) now, as I should've been.

(thanks for bringing the old smilies back Ant )
