I'm looking to buy another MB for my G400DH/RR-g combination. I just like too many things about this board to give it up.
I bought a Tyan Trinity 400 for the alternative chip support, but have been unable to really optimize the video capabilities of the card for recording with the VIA chipset This looks like it will be a good card for the wife's audio needs with the PIII slot1 500/100..
I think I want to go with Asus, because I haven't tried one. I have an FCPGA PIII 733/133MHz CPU, and I'm looking at the TUSL2 w/ i815EP chipset. I would just like to know if anyone has tried this board with the G400DH/RR-g , and if so, is it stable and whatnot.
So really the 2 main things are the PIII 133MHz FSB, and the G400 combo, and of course stability. Any other board recommendations would be great too.
I'm running Win98 or Win98SE which ever works out better.
