  • 21" Monitor

I'm looking at the following Dell Monitor, its a 21" Trinitron display, but I'd like some advice on how good it is. The Specs are located here http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/monitors/55347/. Its pretty cheap $225 Canadian.

    Any opinions would be appreciated.

Dell monitors tend to be repackaged Sony's. They're usually good monitors, but Dell overcharges for them if you don't buy them with a system.

For that price, are you looking at a refurb? I tend to shy away from those.

      Wombat,

Yep its an off Lease monitor, but I'm thinking that at $225 (The price of a cheap 17") its a pretty good deal. It does come with a 30 day warranty.

It is being sold through one of Dell's subsiduaries, so thats a plus I guess.

I've had a 1626HT since 9/98. It's still holding up very well. It is a nice monitor you'll like it..

Just be careful. It may only have a 15-day warranty.

            Sounds like a sweet deal.

I got a 21 inch monitor a couple of weeks ago. It's a ViewSonic and I spent considerably more than $225.

I never find good deals like that.
