Hi Doc,
Can you please offer some advice?
I’m dual booting 98se/XP Home, but XP keeps on randomly restarting. I think it could be an ACPI problem as my mobo is an Aopen AX6B+ with the most recent BIOS dated March 2000. I’m using my soundcard’s (Marian Marc 4 Digi) Win 2000 drivers, but I don’t think it’s that.
I want to setup my XP partition with Standard PC setup as you described in an earlier post, but if this involves disabling ACPI in BIOS how will this affect my 98SE partition?
Or, will the XP standard sewtup ignore ACPI even if it is enabled in BIOS?
