  • Old paper about Nvidia and 3dmarks

    I remember reading something on matrox's site, or something by them , that explained how nvidia hacked their drivers to increase perfomance gains , by removing a quality option or something

    if anyone has the url for that it'd be appreciated !

    It's caled GDI bypassing... something that M$ doesn't allow. Don't have that link anymore tho.

        Nope. In the benchmarks thread you'll see a few thousand fps on Q3 demos.
        Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
