Sleeping in religious grounds does seem a little low. But I can't blame them for not staying in their compound. This doesn't imply that they are afraid of death. It's common sense that they are more useful to their cause if they stay alive now, and give up their lives when it might actually help the cause they are fighting for.

It's not B52 but Lockheed AC-130 (Gunship) and eventhough it has propellers instead of jet engines, is quite slow and can be usually found flying very low it's pretty impressive how many weapons it can hold... poor afghan villlages and innocent afghan civillians stand absolutely no chance.
