    Does anyone know if whether the new Radeon 8500 can handle 1600x1200@75hz on dual monitors for a total desktop of 3200x1200? I post this here because many dual monitor users are matrox people as well as people in desktop video. THanks!

    Here's what their FAQ says;

    ====================
    Yes. ALL-IN-WONDER® RADEON™ 8500DV allows a number of possible display configurations. The DVI-I connector can be used to drive a DVI display, VGA monitor or YPrPb display. At the same time, the video output can drive a television or VCR.
    ====================

    Doesn't sound to me like a real dual VGA dualhead like the G400 display cards but more of a VGA + analog deal like the Marvel G400.

      From what I've read in fact only the "normal" Radeon8500 will have two DVI/CRT output - the DV version is supposed to only have analog/video out for the second display.

      But I guess we will all have to wait and see until the Radeon8500DV is released, since anything other is speculation.
