  • Quick Cornerstone question

For all you that have cornerstone Monitors....how long did it take for it to get your house? I have a tracking number off the site but it doesn't look like any fedex or UPS tracking number I've ever seen! I'm out on the East Coast in NJ and they are out in CA....

Took mine three days to arrive in South Florida

I ordered one from Monitors Direct. I paid $30 for UPS ground shipping. It arrived in 18 hours.

Ok I got my Cornerstone today (p1460), and the picture isn't much improved (although that could be the fault of this Kyro2).

In addition, the picture was super-pincushioned out of box. Is this normal?

Last but not least, the top inch of the screen is all squashed, and I can't seem to get rid of it. Do I need to call in the super warranty I have on this?

                Greebe,

                What you say?

                (hehe, couldn't resist)

Yeah, I'm thinking I need to call in this "guy shows up in 24 hours or less with a brand new monitor" warranty.

What resolution / refresh rate are you running? I would expect the image to be square if you use any of the pre-set resolutions, 1600 x 1200 at 85Hz or 1280 x 1024 at 85Hz for example. The pre set resolutions are the ones used at the factory to align the monitors.

                      Gosharks,

This is with two separate video cards, at all the standard resolutions. I fired it up at 1024x768x85hz, it was pinned out and disgusting. In addition, the upper left front corner had some nasty discolorations on it - they cleaned off with monitor cleanser, but they were either blood or rust (I'd prefer to think the latter! URK!), so...

Maybe I'll call that number now, huh?

You know, it warms my heart to find a company that has good customer service!

I called, they were like "no no, it should be a great image out of the box - just zoom it to your taste", and then they wanted to know if I had overnight courier delivery or just standard - which is still overnight new monitor delivery in this area.

Wow. I'm impressed. Cornerstone kicks ass.
