help! my thumb buttons on my logitech mouseman wheel mice have suddenly decided to act as a 'back' button in (internet) explorer, and I don't know how to get them back to autoscroll (which now only is the middle mouse button). The weird thing is that this happened after I installed Win2k slipstreamed SP2 install, without any other software. And I don't want to install the crappy mouseware, since it won't do what I want anyway.... and there has to be a way to change the behaviour of the buttons in the registry or somewhere with the default widows drivers.

You may try and install microsoft's intellimouse software. I have used it on other brands of mice to fix driver problems. It will alow you to rearrange the button functions. It can be downloaded fron their web site.
