If I'm reading this correctly it is the winner of the contest that will be announced on Oct 26 and not a video-board.

("the winner of a video-board who will be announced", if the gfx-card was meant it should read "the winner of a video-board which / that will be announced")

So maybe you'll only get the announcement that you won another G550

Are you so sure??? Maybe they do mean the winner but if it is a G550 why didn't they just say so? It is available and it's not like it's a big secret??? BTW I don't remember entering any contest with Matrox.

Reading it again I don't think it's a normal G550 - as they're adressing you as "Dear Digital Video Enthusiast" it might be more a "Marvel G550" / G550eTV type of thing.

However if it's Matrox counterpart to the Radeon8500 DV, they're announcing I won't be sad either

                      So, what happened?
I could not find anything at Matrox' website, and there was nothing about this topic in the latest Matrox-in-the-loop newsletter I received two days ago.
Any info on this topic would be nice.
