  • Popping sound while playing dvds. help

Was going to ask this in wombats thread but then my brain kicked in
I have an onkyo 6disc dvd changer and have it hooked into my vega tv and whenever i press pause, stop, rewind or fast forward there is a loud popping sound..this also occurs at certain points in the film like scene changes. Can anybody tell me what this is?
And how do I remedy it?

I doubt you can... sounds like a firmware update is needed to prevent the audio channel from allowing noise from being passed when either scenes, tracks, or place in the movie is altered/changed.
