  • Can anyone recommend some good games?

Well I am dying to play a good game. I am really looking for a good RPG game to play. Unfortunatley looks like Pool of Radianance is not good at all based on all the reviews I have seen. an anyone recommend any others?

I have already played and won all of the Baldurs gate series also. Thx

    How about Planescape: Torment?http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14018

I started another thread like this back in March.

I beat Torment, but it's got definite replay value.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

      Jediphx,

Although they aren't RPGs, I highly recommend the
Thief series of games......commonly referred to as
first-peron sneakers......great stories and excellent gameplay.

Can't believe it, POR II is awesome. It's a good old-style dungeon crawl with HUGE areas to explore. Just give it a try!

BTW, it runs fine on a Matrox card.

Arcanum the game i playing is quite a good RPG, u either hate it or love it. It is an RPG players' RPG if u get my meaning. Everything you start about your char influences the NPC's approach. etc, I was "hello wild-man" until i did something worthy when it became "Mr Barbarian". I was trying out a Half-elf Barbarian thief/fighter who can make is own health potions.

I would recommend a half-elf thief/fighter with "a beat with a ugly stick background", (i can allocate points to my beauty later on) if you decide to try out the game. The boon and bane of the game is that there is no restrictions on what u want to be.

The setting is different as is the storyline, not your normal medieval or futuristic but victorian. Most happily, it doesnt even try to push my g400 to limits.
Life is a bed of roses. Everyone else sees the roses, you are the one being gored by the thorns.

Since u have played Torment, I would say play it again!

Seriously (although I meant it!) have u tried Fallout 2? In my opinion it together with Torment are the best games Ive played, I keep going back to them.

I have just seen Fallout 1+2 sold together for 100 DKR, app 10US$, that is a real bargain.
