  • Tribes 2 and G400MAX performances! PLEASE HELP!

I get very very very low FPS (usually 10/15) whit Tribes 2 and my G400MAX at 640 x 480 16bit MINIMUM GRAPHIC DETAIL!
I use the lastest drivers 6.71 for win ME and Tribes 2 is already patched whit the lastest one!
    No problems whit other games:
I can run MAX PAYNE at 1024x768 whit maxium graphic detail at 30/35fps!

    How can i solve that?

never played T2 yet, but I had a thought lookin at your post. Is 6.7 1 a typo, or do you have a driver that none of us have? afaik, 6.51 is the latest 9x/me driver.

Also, post driver settings etc, and ingame settings. Someone will help ya.

edit, im a dummy smtimes, sorry

6.71.011 are the lastest BETA drivers for G400series and WIN 9x family!

As for the game: I have all graphics settings to the minimum (640 x 480; 16bit deph and textures rendering, Bilinear filtering, ecc...) but it s still very slow! I can t reach 25fps outside!

k, I played the demo yesterday, and no matter what I did, I couldnt get it too look right. The outside textures were really washed out, there were SERIOUS clipping errors, I could see where all the polys joined(scenery and terrain, not objects), I could see the "box" outline of the sky. It was bad. But interior stuff was fine as were the objects(players, weapons etc). Also the frame rates were totally exceptible. No probs there.

It also gave me an error on leaving the game that made me reboot every time.

Oh well, back to Mech 4 WooHOO!
