problem with Santa Cruz

Hi all, I have a problem when I record audio from line- in of
TB Santa Cruz, while capturing video and audio in Ulead Video Studio 5. When I play back the captured clip, audio has a huge
reverber effect. I disabled effects in TB control panel but always
there is reverber.
Any help? Thanks

You say you turned off the reverb features in the Effects panel, right?

Did you turn off 3D audio in the Other panel?

Yes Doc, I've only Direct Sound Acceleration enabled in other panel.

I'm stabbing in the dark here as I can't reproduce this effect. Here goes;

Do you have a mic plugged in and is its mixer switch turned on? You might be getting low level input from it.

Hi all and thank for help.
Here is what's happened. I wanted go back from Win Me to Win 98 first edition. I made a clean installation of OS, drivers and apps. When I captured TV from VS5 dvd (I agree, Doc, Ligos Go Motion seems good) voila! audio captured without reverber.
I don't know if depends on differences between W98 and WME,
but settings in TB control panel were identical.

P.S. Media player 7 doesn't play back mpeg2 clip, media player
6.4 does. In Microsoft world, is the progress in the past or in the
future?
