G550 32mb Ddr Agp With Dvi
I'm so new to this field, that I don't even have a system yet. I've visited all of the Matrox sites, and several other tech and user sites, but still a lot of confusion. For example, I was looking at the Matrox Mill. G450 as a card for the RT2500. Now I see this: MATROX MILLEN G550 32MB DDR AGP WITH DVI .
I'm swamped with so many Acronyms and abbreviations (and I thought the Army was bad..), that everything is becoming a blur. Is this a better card than the G450, or just different capabilities? As we used to say in Military Tactics: "Respond in the clear", please. If you throw more acronyms at me, or techno-garble, I'll still be in the dark. I've been trying to match up Motherboards and processors, and they look more like Cryptograms. I have a basic system laid out on paper. People point me to web pages, but, if you don't understand what all the garble means, it doesn't help.
