So, a Japanese store employee bought a GameCube "early" and disassembled it, taking pictures all along the way.

Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP. -
I went to ECTS last week and saw the game cube in action - pretty crap is the best way I can describe it! All cartoony graphics, no better than the N64, apart from it had a bump mapping demo which was the bump mapped surface way too strong so it also looked crap.
Anyway, needles to say I was quite unimpressed!
