  • ASF codec doesn't remember bitrate...

Hi! I'm trying to export low-bitrate movies from the timeline in Adobe Premiere 5.1. For that task I use the beta MPEG-4 DLL (the one which will allow you to compress on-the-fly in premiere).
However, the DLL doesn't seem to remember any settings I give it. It always runs at 3000 kbps.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

The dll is a codec. The program should remember the compression settings, not the codec itself. VirualDub, for example, remembers the parameters. Apparently Adobe Premiere does not, unless you overlooked a Save Params button somewhere.

I am watching the TV and it's worthless.
If I switch it on it is even worse.

I've found some other MPEG-4 clone that CAN compress from within premiere. I think the problem is solved now. Thanks anyway!
