  • THINK Calculator?

Forgive me in advance for taking the lazy route, and not digging for the answer myself.

That out of the way, here's the question...

Is there a calculator that allows you to take the CPU rating in think, multiply it times the amount of time a unit has been going, to come up with the number of points it will generate?

The reason I'm asking is this.

    My WindowsXP box - A 1.4Ghz T-Bird, with 768MB PC2100DDRSDRAM, also running Genome @ Below-Normal priority, is rated @ 119 for the system performance.

This unit has now been crunching for over 122 Hours, and is only at the 62% mark.

Any ideas on the number of units it will generate? (Besides a LOT! )

    Thx in Advance,

    The Guyver
    Gaming Rig.

    - Gigabyte GA-7N400-Pro
    - AMD Athlon 3200+ XP
    - 1.5GB Dual Channel DDR 433Mhz SDRAM
    - 6.1 Digital Audio
    - Gigabit Lan (Linksys 1032)
    - 4 x 120GB SATA Drives, RAID 0+1 (Striped/Mirrored)
    - Sony DRU-500A DVD/+/-/R/RW
    - Creative 8x DVD-ROM
    - LS120 IDE Floppy

    The nearly correct answer is:

    Points = run-time * machine-score / 5

If you can keep your high net-score, you'll get atleast 2.9k.

You can't say anything about how long time it'll take based on % done, since one wu can take 30 minutes cpu-time to get from 0% to 50%, but use over 24 hours cpu-time between 98 and 99 percent.

403 Hours and still @ 78% - same place it was 40 hours ago....

EDIT: It keeps getting better and better - I checked the Process stats, and in the last 307 Hours (by checking how much CPU time ghclient.exe had), UD has accumulated a little over 3 hours of CPU time.

            It's still @ 78% at 434 Hours.

I'm hoping to see a major bucket load of points off this one..
