Just wondering if anyone knows why there is a delay when pressing play on the timeline in Premiere 6.0 with the RT2500?
It is extremely annoying and i would love to get rid of this problem!

thanx

Ok, I never experienced a delay that long, can you please post your system specs?

I am currently running Win2K on a dual PIII 600 system, 1gig of ram, and plenty of hard disk space.
My mobo is the Asus P2B-D latest bios.

Just post your system specs and we'll see what we can come up with.

Elie

Elie,

i remember with the G400 and Premiere 5.5 there was a command in the prem50.ini file to keep the card always in playback mode. is there something similar for this?

also... when i scrub with the alt key then i press play the delay is MUCH shorter, sometimes it's not even there. maybe that will help u out a bit.

thanx

Wako.

Hmmm.....

Premiere can bog down if you have too many undo levels set as it doesn't handle these buffers very well. Try setting the undo levels for something like 3 or less and see what happens. I *think* the default is 15.
