  • RT2000 setup with Win2k

    Hi all.
I'm about to embark on my second attempt at installing an RT2000 in my PC running Win2K Pro. I had trouble installing Vid Tools 3.0 due to a video driver problem (probably) caused by not disconnecting the ribbon between the codec and display cards while installing the OS. (so that's what installation instructions are for!)
Anyhoo, I'm looking for any advice/words of wisdom from anyone who has successfully pulled it off themselves. Here's a breakdown of my system:

    Asus P3B-F mobo (latest BIOS)
    PIII 850 FC/slot adapter
    512 MB PC-100 RAM
    15GB ATA-66 Operating System HD
    3 x 30GB Maxtor Diamond Max 40+ ATA-100 HD in a RAID "0" array
    Promise FastTrak100 RAID card
    Matrox RT2000 capture/display cards
    Linksys Etherfast NIC
    ISA SB soundcard
    Premiere 6.0

Dr Mordrid, since you've done some amazing things with similar hardware setups, any advice from you would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks to everyone in advance,
    Riddek.
