problem with alone in the dark 4

hi, i'm a new member from italy...
i have some problems running alone in the dark 4 with my millennium g400 max... i've started the game with the latestes driver installed (powerdesk 6.71) and the game runs fine...
but it takes too munch time to change background (5 seconds!) and generally, this problem happens only when the game has to load 2d images (such as backgrunds or books' images)

I tried the to install the drivers included in the glsetup software (powerdesk 6.14) and the game runs perfectly , but this time there are some problems with the textures (when i use a weapon the texture of the player goes wrong)

Finally i tried with other version of powerdesk (6.55, 6.10, 622)
and i have always the first problem (texture ok, but very slow loading of the 2d images)

first off, welcome aboard!
you say the game runs perfectly with PD6.14 so I would use that version & use mtstu418 with it's tweaks for image & texture accuracy (can't remember the exact wording).
