    Happy birthday to you cbman!!!!

Dont be so down ... cheer up. Life can be hard at times (believe me, i would know), but we shouldnt let things dissapoint us. So get out with your wife, have a good time, and forget about your troubles at least for one day ..

          Happy Birthday!

Dude, I know exactly how you feel. Most of my birthdays always seem to suck.

Look on the bright side though, at least you got to upgrade your computer!

I took out the larger Hard Drive because I am going to install Win2K on my fast computer but to make the wife happy I made a complete backup of the Win98 Partition (Using Ghost) so that she can still run everything like it is under 98 by picking the fujitsu in the boot options... now I just need the time to get Win2K put on.

Oh and I am suprised that no one is suprised that I am running a 166MMX at 100Mhz FSB... I am probably not the first to do so... but I am the first person I know to have done it. (As of this minute )

And yes that system flies compared to the old one... especially in Productivity Apps like Word 97 and Notepad

When I had me 233MMX I tried it at 100MHz bus but it wasn't very stable no matter how low the clock speed was. Runs pretty fast at 100MHz FSb doesn't it?

Actually, I am pretty impressed with the speed increase.

I can run the chip at 2.5*83 (210Mhz) but then the SCSI gets a little flakey... but at 2*100 (200Mhz) the new computer runs Win2K without a problem... its actually faster than the P!!!-450 Dell computers we used at school to learn on. (At least that it the way it feels to me... of course those dells were the biggest piles of scrap I have ever played with (with the exception to a Gateway 2000 pentium 75 computer that the owner was adament that it would take a 20GB HDD)
