  • Hard Drive Utilities can't get through Promise Ultra100TX2

I just upgraded from the ol' Ultra66 to an Ultra100TX2. Due to issues with video capturing I had to turn a couple ATA66 drives down to 33. Now that I got a new controller card I want to turn those drives back up to 66. One is a IBM and the other a Western Digital. I downloaded the necessary tool(s) from each manufacturer's website. The IBM tools get stuck (just sits there with no activity for a while) when scanning for hard drives on the controller and I have to reboot, while the WD tools don't recognize any HDDs in my system.

Anyone know if there is anything I can do short of plugging my drives into the mobo's IDE slots?
