  • WinME - explorer.exe help needed!

    when i start windows explorer in win ME... it always opens up the 'my documents' folder first... how do i change it to automatically load 'my computer' folder

    btw, i just got ME, and luv it.... ftp/zip explorer integration, wdm sound, faster for gaming, fast bootup/shutdown, stable, etc.. etc... all very nice

    I dont have the answer to your question, but since you just installed WinMe I just wanted to make sure that you are aware of the following



    I just found out, and it ticks me off

        ME is useless

        I had installed ME, but then I removed it. It does not do anything new that warrnetd my wasted money on it. My 98SE installis more stable.

        I'd rather have Windows 2000.

          well, we all have different needs, plus it takes a while to realize all the small but nice features it has over 98se...
          btw i find this more stable than 98.... it never has crashed on me.... yet ;-)

              I did not mean to say it does not have advantages. It is just that it wasn't worth the money for the change.
