  • Removing scrolling text ?

    Hi there,
is there a way to remove scrolling text (e.g.ads, financial rates e.t.c) that scrolls across the picture of a movie captured from the TV ?

    Thx in advance

There's no easy automatic way to remove text.
    you have two choices
1 put solid color over the top of the text
    theirs a pugin for VirtualDub.

2 manually paint over the text !
beware its not worth the time and the results
depend on the orginal video ,
you would need a powerfully PC because the paint program
will have to uncompressed the video to work on it
and at 704x576x25fps it works out about 30megabits
per second of video , so you need lots of memory and hard disk space.

If there was finer control over the brushes
and a "paint from image buffer" this progy would
    be top of my list

its not been updated sine Dec 1999

Photoshop can load "filmstrips" made by Premiere and AFX
Paintshop pro has some anim/video functionality
    Coral draw can load video
Can anyone add more to that list?

There are some great video/anim progys for the
    amiga computer ,Dpaint/PersonalPaint/Brilence/ImageFX.

So there should be a good one out there for the PC?
