I havent been here in months.
Went over to the "darkside" and switched video cards. A very sad day for me. Unresolvable configuration problems. The new card may be fast but doesnt hold a candle to the beautiful graphics of the G400max

I just wanted to say that I haven't seen the quality of information, cooperation, and camaraderie found at the MURC anywhere else.

The MURC is an amazing group with some of the best moderators out there. Keep up the excellent work!

But, I certainly can't take credit for most of your praises. I'm just the sheriff of a couple of forums . It's the community as a whole that makes this place what it is, and of course Ant, for making this place exist at all.

I do seem to remember that someone else had originally started up a crude version of the forums some ages ago...Flatulent Stormfart or something like that. But he bailed long ago, so why give him credit?

I siwtched to a Asus V7700 Deluxe a while ago, but I keep coming back for the sage and frequently humorous advice. I still have not had the heart to get rid of my Marvel G400.

That was a good time. Matrox had just released the m3D and we were being told to go find our own forum because we were talking Matrox and not Videologic. She was a beauty when she was born, the forum that is, but look at how she has grown and matured. My god child has done good.

Just because you switch vid cards don't mean you haft to leave MURC. I got a Hercules Prophet 4500 right now, but I'm still around. Just waiting to see what M has in store for next year. That and I mostly stick to Gen Hardware and The Soap box.
