When you ran the BIOS update, it should have asked you for a floppy disk, so it could make an emergency recovery disk. Use that emergency recovery disk to restore the BIOS.

If you did not make that recovery disk (naughty, naughty), try using Matrox's recover utility, listed on the utilities page of their web site, or here at MURC.

If that doesn't work, the card is still under warranty, and you can go through Matrox's forums to set up an RMA.

Or you can stick in a pci vid card and flash the bios again.

          BEEP

How many Beep sounds? The Beeps tells you what's wrong with your pc..
Also your Bios type and motherboard....

(ps du skulle ikke tatt den "bayer'n" før du flashet biosen )

          Best regards

              Remove the G400
Put in a PCI video card
Set the motherboard BIOS to boot PCI as the primary video
              Put the G400 back in
              Recover the G400's BIOS
Remove the PCI card, set the mobo BIOS back to AGP for primary
