  • who has a g550 then??????

right there are some reviews out now so those under nda or whatever can say they have the card, right????

if this is true then we need our own independent review of the card, hopefully with some overclocked benchmarks, like Maggi's for the g450 which were excellent

Thankyou, i will be off fragging now

I got one this afternoon, no NDA attached to it. Tell me what you want to see tested and I'll do it if I can.

        Congrats Ant!
Just throw it into a Linux box and hit me with all the benchmarks U can get.

Later U can always compare W2k vs Wxp vs Wmil vs W98se. Just so I can check which OS to use..

        Heh. That aside:
I think U should just get it to work, mayhaps do a little cs (or DoD) and mayhaps try to run Max payne if available.

Then give me Ur thoughts about G550 vs G400MAX.

        Until then,

If possible, please do some comparing 3D tests between the G550 and the G400/16 and G400/32 too.

            Thanks.

sounds great, as you can see in the Matrox Hardware forum, I may need a new card soon. Can you test Mech4 if possible? If you dont have it there is a demo. Thanx.

I'd be curious if it can handle an AGP bus running at 133/2 as well as the G400 does. Not ready to replace my BX mobo yet.

                            headcasting...

you could make a little "video" conference (aka headcasting) with one of the BB's and tell us about it...
