MSPRO 5.2 converting files to DIVX

I am running Media Studio Pro 5.2 with a Matrox G400 TV card.
I have installed the DivX 4 Beta 2 codec, and whilst this codec comes up in the compression window of MsPro (create video file), when "save" is hit, a message comes on screen "unable to access codec"

Are MSPRO 5.2 and the Matrox G400 incompatible with DivX encoding?

I haven't really had a chance to mess with it but I have read that DivX 4 is a two pass codec. I doubt that you could do straight captures if this is the case.
