  • Tv Problems On Sony Wega

    Hi,

Strange but true I am having problems with the display when TV OUT is enable on the Sony Wega. The TV OUT on the RCA which is only a few years old works fine. The display problem on the Wega is... bw on top and bottom with a centre band of colour.
This is not macrovision but some electronic circuitry related to sony's wega. Does any one else notice this problem?
This sucks because I wanted to do TV OUT on the big sony 32" instead of the small 21" RCA.

    Any solutions or comments?

    thanks,

    LC

I'm outputting to my WEGA with no problems. Which video input are you using? Have you tied changineg input ports? (Video 1...4 etc.)

      Hi,

Yes I did try different inputs and different connectors (RCA and S-Video). I do get a picture but it is one that is in black and white with a centre band of colour! This is not macrovision becuase there is no shift in intensity in colour or contrast. And when I hit record on the vcr and play it black, the TV-out image is fine, just like the normal image on the RCA TV.

      My specs are:

      CPU: P2-350 Mhz
      RAM: 256 MB
      HD : 10 GB

      Marvel G200 NTSC
      Windows 98 SE
      PDesk 5.55
      Video Tools 1.54

That's odd. Have you tried degrading to VT 1.52?
