G400 stuff.......
Despite the number of posts on the web regarding the G450 (and G800), Matrox aren't releasing any details of either card, or of the potential compatibility with the G-RR.
Reading Ant's rundown on the prospective lifespan of the G450, I don't see that Matrox are likely to bring out a Marvel variant.
So until Matrox decide to make an announcement, I don't see that we can realistically help you to make a decision (innuendo not being a solid basis for recommendation).
If you can afford to wait a few weeks until the situation is clearer you will get a better picture. Other than that, you are back to that old decision as to whether the Marvel is better or worse than the G400/G-RR combination, and that particular argument has been addressed many times here.
If I hear anything, I'll be letting everyone know.
