Ok I have a JVC Super VHS Videomovie GR-SX90 and now when I turn it on and try to play a tape or record something after a few seconds I get a white screen with an "E 01" flashing and I hear a buzzing sound from inside the camera if I hold it to my ears. Any ideas? I really would like to get the camera working. Thx

I dont have a manual for that particular model, but on the other JVC camcorders I had to fix, the particular error code was an indication of drum or capstan servo problems - normally rotation is not sensed or is not happening at all

Get it sorted out pronto - tape damage is usually inevitable
