  • Matrox Mystique 220 & Rainbow Runner

I need a bit of quick advice from some veteran Matroxites -

I'm looking for a videocard to drop into my old AMDK6III-475 pc seeing as my G400max has been used for my new machine.
I've seen a Matrox Mystique 220 complete with Rainbow Runner card going cheap on an Auction site.

How does this stack up against the G200, or a Millenium 2 with an M3D card, in terms of 2d Quality & 3d Speed?

Can the Mystique 220 use an M3D card as well as /instead of a Rainbow Runner?

I tried a forum search, but its broke

Mystique 220 is older than the G200 cards, and has no 3D functionality to speak of. It's 2D is still better than many of today's cards.

You should be able to use both the RRS and an M3D at the same time with it.
