Was Haig able to get a new Router for the servers?

The new server is pinging good for me.
About time to test it out a little I think.

Ah, so that's where it's gone. Was looking for it this afternoon. Ping looks good, slightly lower than the old server (old server had erratic latency).

Played some TFC on the new IP last night, and it ran great. Got about 10% faster, and very steady ping for over an hour straight (an <80ms ping, even dropping to the low 70s at times).

How about that new HL patch? I was able to play last night without upgrading. Or, did the server not upgrade yet? Or is the new patch backwards-compatible?

Valve has said that an un-updated client works with the upgraded server and visa-versa.

The next patch should be in a couple of weeks that has the major meat we've been waiting for (glHack fixes, voice comm, multicast, etc).

I played DMC for about 45 seconds and that was plenty for me... no need to d/l 1.1.0.7 unless you want to play the original Quake DM on the HL engine or you're having the white-model problem.
