Genome
Hi, just joined the team (user name spykey). I'm not necessarily abandoning SETI but I thought I would give this a try.
I only starter SETI recently and so its kind of depressing being in like 500th place and having no chance of getting on any of the 'fastest crunchers' lists.
Whereas with Genome it seems to have only started more recently and there are less people involved. I must have uploaded my first gene sometime during the night and I'm now 22/30 on the second. So I am already 31/38 in the matrox team!! Kind of more exciting than being 500 and whatever in the SETI team.
Anyway just thought I would ask if there is any help / tips / faq yet on running Genome. Eg is there a 'GenomeSpy' type program?
